What brings you here today?

Well, I am here to celebrate with kids. Yesterday was 118th Birthday of Chacha Nehru and this is the 50th year of Children's Film Society. The society is doing a wonderful job. We plan to raise the budget so that we can take this to international level and preferably to Oscars.

How do you celebrate Children's Day?

I love celebrating Children's Day. My parents do it for me. Nirvaan, Ayaan, Arhaan and Salman (laughs) get lots of chocolates from parents, Sohail and Arbaas.

What did you love most when you were a kid?

I love myself. I am still a kid at heart and that's what I like about myself. I would never let that change. I am still a little cute baby.

What does today's generation need to learn most?

Please, thank you and sorry; these are the three words that kids need to learn today. Kids also need to avoid the harmful things like drugs. Once you get involved into drugs, it's really difficult to come out, both physically and mentally.

What is the best part in being a kid?

Wow! The best part in being a kid is that one can speak anything without thinking. There is no politics, there are no gangs. Kids are so innocent and they live life so happily and without any tension.

What's the disadvantage of being a kid?

The worst part is when one kid gets beaten up. And yes, they can't go to night clubs; they can't go for night outs and parties.

Did you get beating in your childhood?

Yes, a lot (laughs). My teacher and my principal did beat me. I still get scolding from my parents. My mother still slaps me; my father punched me about two years ago. But that's all for good. Today what I am is all because of their scolding. But yes you can't remove your frustration on your child by beating him up.

You have three kids (nephews) at home. Who is the naughtiest one?

Out of the three -- Nirvaan, Ayaan & Arhaan…Nirvaan is the naughtiest one. I play with them and I also spoil them. Children need to be spoile!

When do you plan to get married and have kids?

(Laughs) Very soon. I promise in coming 20/30 years I shall get married.

Do you like watching cartoon?

I love watching cartoons. Adults can go out to night clubs and have fun. But cartoons are kids' best friends; rather I would say everybody loves watching cartoon irrespective of age. I have seen my grandparents watching and laughing Tom and Jerry.

Which is your favorite cartoon character?

My favorite cartoon character is 'Shrek'. I really love watching that. And, I am the donkey in that.

Would you ever like to give your voice to any cartoon character?

Though, I have never thought about it, but I would love to do it. And if given a thought I would like to give my voice to 'Captain Fast Break'.

What are your upcoming movies?

My upcoming movies are 'Baabul' and 'Salam-E-Ishq'.
