…sister-in-law Malaika Arora wishes to see him married
Birthday boy Salman Khan will be turning 42 on December 27. According to friends close to Salman, major celebrations are to be expected at the superstar’s Panvel farm house. However, the entire ‘Khan’daan may not be present this time. Salman himself will be back only on the morning of December 26, returning from the shoot of Rumy Jaffery’s ‘God Tussi Great Ho’, currently being shot in South Africa.
Friends from the family also point out that Sohail Khan will not be present for bade bhaiya’s birthday as he would not have completed his shoot schedule in South Africa.
However a lot of Salman’s family and friends will be there including father Salim Khan and sisters Arpita and Alvira. Friends like David Dhawan, Govinda and Suniel Shetty are likely to appear. Last year, a huge tent was put up and adequate arrangements had been made for guests to stay over. In fact, the celebrations that started on the night of December 26 continued through the day on December 27. This year too, there will be a sumptuous spread and enough entertainment for guests including a pool table, swimming pool, and of course how can anyone forget the family’s favourite game of cricket?
Sister-in-law Malaika Arora, who unfortunately won’t be in town for Salman’s birthday has some really warm wishes for him. She says to him, “I look forward to seeing you getting married. Here’s wishing you a very happy birthday, lots of love, success and happiness. Have a brilliant 2007!”
