Salman Khan left for London Monday morning, January 14, to unveil his $400,000 wax replica at Madame Tussad's museum. Accompanying him was unacknowledged girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Katrina's readiness to accompany Salman to London could be significant. She recently spent time with Salman and his family at his Panvel farmhouse for his 42nd birthday on December 27.

So far Katrina has steadfastly maintained that Salman and she are nothing more than good friends.

Salman Khan was sized and photographed in Mumbai for the wax replica which took five artistes 12 weeks to create.

Salman was one of the first Bollywood stars to stress on fitness and a muscular body form. Hrithik Roshan admits to having drawn his inspiration for a great body from friend Salman.

The wax replica at Madame Tussad's has reportedly done justice to Salman's six pack abs and bulging biceps.

Salman donated a set of clothes and a bracelet that his father gave him for the wax replica.

Khan was picked from a field of ten Bollywood stars in a poll conducted over the summer by the British Asian entertainment magazine Ikonz and the BBC Asian Network.

Salman emerged the clear winner from amongst over 10,000 votes that were cast.

The order in which the 10 ranked in terms of votes were: Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, Kajol, Lata Mangeshkar, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham.
