Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan's next venture ‘Om Shanti Om' will go on floor in January 7 next year. Earlier it was scheduled to be launched in January 3, but that time Shah Rukh Khan, who is playing the main lead in the film would remain busy shooting ‘Chak De India' in Delhi, so it shifted to January 7 – said Farah Khan recently in a press meet while replying to the latest rumours about the film's postponement.
Shah Rukh Khan's home production will produce the film. In fact, Farah's directorial debut ‘Main Hoon Naa' was also produced by Shah Rukh Khan.
As per latest, like ‘Main Hoon Naa', ‘Om Shanti Om' will also have two male leads and for that Salman Khan has been approached. However Salman hasn't given his nod yet. When asked, Farah said, “If Salman doesn't agree to do the role, then Zayed Khan can step in.”
Model Deepika Padukone will debut in this film as Shah Rukh Khan's heroine. Also Shreyas Talpade, Kirron Kher and Bindu will play important roles in the film.
