Salman Khan confirmed past media reports that he will be paid Rs 24 Crores for a single film by the Shree Ashtavinayak making him the highest paid actor in Indian cinema. In addition he will be entitled to 70% of the profits.
Speaking with Screen trade journal, Salman said he will get the record paycheck for the film Tarzan, which will be targeted at children.
"We're remaking 'Tarzan' to appeal to the kids and the youth. My 'No Entry' director Anees Bazmee will be directing it," he said.
When asked "Who will be your Jane?" in the film Salman said, "We still have to figure her out. Wait. All in good time."
