It is an instance where a boss is backing up his subordinate. Bollywood star Salman Khan is these days campaigning for his make-up man Sudesh Nag, who is contesting in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.
Not leaving any stone unturned to emerge victorious in the elections, Nag has roped in the star actor for his campaigning in the by-lanes of Kandivali.
"I have his (Raju aka Sudesh) brother for my make-up. For how long can he (Raju) continue doing make-up and even he has to grow in life. I am 100 per cent sure that he will definitely win the elections," said Salman.
Even though Nag has not really been a popular candidate, the presence of Salman Khan has made him a special contestant.
"I am sure that Salman's campaigning will help me a lot to garner votes and after winning the elections, I will in turn help the society to the maximum," said Nag.
"After winning the elections, I will request for (constructing) a subway since when the school gets over here, the entire traffic gets blocked. So, to avoid huge traffic jams, I will work towards the building of the subway that is similar to the subway in Malad," he added.
Salman's fans thronged the streets, stood on rooftops and shouted at the top of their voices, vying for their star's attraction. And, the actor too appeared to be touched by the gesture of the people.
