Well, at the audio release of 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke', Rani and Preity were at their over-friendliness stunts all over again. And what's more. Rani was heard calling out to her Preity dearest... 'Preetam Preetam'. And then obviously the giggles and talks followed. Also sharing another great friendship were co-stars Salman and Sunju, who were also filled with giggles and small talks with Salman whispering sweet nothings into the Dutt's ears every now and then. But obviously their friendship was shown-off with a li'l more maturity than the gals'. Neways, we hope their movie does well, in the name of friendship at least, if nothing else.

THE STORY
After the super-success of "Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega," the hit team of Salman Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee team up once again for Director Duo Abbas-Mustan's "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke." In a marathon schedule of 14 days, the film is fast contenthead towards completion. The story is that of a bar dancer named Madhubala (Preity Zinta). Her mind is full of money, money, money all the time. Salman Khan is married to Rani Mukherjee. They are left a will which states that unless the couple has a baby, they can't claim the property. But they find out that Rani can't conceive. That's when Salman Khan decides to ask Madhubala to be the surrogate mother. Of course, she agrees.

ON LOCATION
On the sets, the camaraderie between Rani, Preity and Salman has to be seen to be believed. All three are extremely friendly and keep playing jokes and pranks on each other. The scene being canned on the day we visit is between Preity and Rani, when they first meet each other. Rani is telling Preity about her family. She doesn't know that Preity is a bar dancer. All along, Rani keeps calling Preity, "Pritam" (her nickname given by Bobby Deol). They laugh and giggle like two schoolgirls, but they give their takes one after the other.
Preity looks so slim... she's in danger of losing her dimples! Rani too has slimmed down and appears reed-thin. Both women are obviously thrilled by the comment, but they insist that they are still hogging at it. During lunch, it's obvious that they've not been lying.
As Salman trots along on the sets, Preity and Rani are watching a sleazy dance number picturised on Preity a couple of days earlier. Preity goes red with embarrassment. "Look at me, wearing those cheap clothes and dancing like a slut," she screams. "I'll never be caught dead in those clothes ever." Rani keeps teasing her best friend, but when somebody tells her how well the two get along, she retorts on people eyeing their friendship, only to find the next headline: "Rani-Preity at War!" She bursts out laughing.
Salman is sulking in a corner and both Rani and Preity hop across to him. He hands them his cigarette butt and ask them to stub it out. Then he lies on his back and asks Rani to press his back! All this while the two girls are chattering nonstop with him. We can't make out whether he's listening at all or just plain sleeping.
When the shot is called again, Preity tells us, "Salman is the most under-rated actor in the film industry. Each time he improvises on the sets, and also gives you mind-blowing suggestions. I share a very good rapport with him!" Rani concurs. "He's really fun to work with. I know his entire family... Sohail, Bunty... all are my buddies. I think Salman's a fabulous actor and person. This is my third film with him and I've always enjoyed myself in his company."

September 2, 2000 - Progresses
Emaar Films International's Chori Chupke Chupke is being shot from Aug. 21 to Sept. 5 on sets at Filmistan Studios, Kamal Amrohi Studios, at Hotel Centaur, Santacruz airoort and in New Delhi. Salman Khan, Rani Mukeji, Preity Zinta, Prem Chopra, Johny Lever, Dalip Tahhil, Farida JaIall and Amrish Puri are participating.

August 12, 2000 - Shot for 16 days
Two Songs A 30-day s hooting schedule of Emaar Films International's Chori Chupke Chupke was shot from July 26 to Aug 10 on three different sets at Filmistan Studios, where a song and scenes were picturised. Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Dalip Tahhil, Bhairavi Vaidya, Amrut Patel and Amrish Puri participated.

May 13, 2000 - Marathon Shooting Schedule
A 30-day s hooting schedule of Emaar Films International's Chori Chori Chupke Chupke commenced today (May 13) at Mahabaleshwar. Two Songs and scenes are being picturised on the entire cast including Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta Prem Chopra, Farida Jalal, Dalip Tahhil, Johny Lever, Sheela David, Manmoujee, Col. Trilok Kapoor, Amrit Patel, Dipti Bhatnagar, Ruby Bhatia and Amrish Puri.

February 12, 2000 - Song Recording
Two Songs Recorded Anu Malik recorded two songs for Emaar Films International's Chori Chori Chupke Chupke on Feb. 3, 4 and 8 at Sahara India. Penned by Sameer, they were rendered by Alka Yagnik and chorus.

February 05, 2000 - Progressing
A 25-day shooting spell of Emaar Films International's Chori-Chori Chupke-Chupke is currently in progress on a hospital set and at various Bombay and Delhi locales. Abbas Mustan are picturising scenes and a song.

October 16, 1999 - Progressing
Emaar Films International's Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is being shot from Oct. 12 to 27 at Kohinoor Hotel, Hotel Centaur, Lilavati Hospital, Royal Palms, Cuffe Parade, KBN, Bandra and on other locales of Bombay. Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta are participating.

August 7, 1999 - Stint Complete
A 10-day shooting schedule of Emaar Films International's Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was completed at Filmistan Studios and on locations of Bombay on July 31. Salman Khan and Preity Zinta participated along with choreographer Ganesh.

June 5, 1999 - 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' To Roll Next Month
Emaar Films International Chori Chori Chupke Chupke will go on the floors on July 3rd with a 25-day shooting stint. It stars Salman Khan, Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta in the lead roles.
